Project Manager - Construction

Location: Dartmoor, Newton Abbot, Exeter (with some work from home)

Salary: 51,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are on the lookout for a skilled Project Manager with a background in construction, particularly with experience in prison construction and renovation. This role involves travel around Dartmoor, Newton Abbot, and Exeter, with the flexibility of some work from home. As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of facilities maintenance within the public sector.

Day to Day of the Role:

Oversee construction and renovation projects within the prison sector, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Manage multiple projects across various stages of development, encompassing a range of disciplines and establishments.

Handle project budgets ranging from 50,000 to approximately 500,000.

Coordinate low value, high volume minor work projects effectively.

Collaborate with diverse teams, including Payroll, Attract, Finance, Commercial & Supply Chain, to drive positive outcomes.

Contribute to the rehabilitation and positive change of the prison environment, impacting prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years managerial and technical experience in project delivery for construction and renovation works.

Proven ability to manage project budgets and multiple projects simultaneously.

Relevant Project Management qualifications.

Public sector, defence, or similar experience is preferred.

Full UK driving license.

Excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
