• Role: Project Manager

• Salary: up to GBP100,000 + package

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing joinery or fitout subcontracting work for major construction contractors. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of the industry and be adept at overseeing all aspects of project execution from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme Management: Develop and implement detailed short-term programmes to ensure timely project delivery.
• Labour Planning: Create and maintain individual labour plans, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
• Team Management: Identify and recruit skilled joiners, manage performance, and take necessary actions to retain high-quality team members while addressing underperformance.
• Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit professional progress reports, ensuring accurate communication of project status to stakeholders.
• Cost Control: Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) to prepare and agree on cost reports, ensuring financial objectives are met

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing projects for joinery or fitout subcontractors.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and adjust labour resources effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a focus on delivering professional documentation.
• Experience working with leading contractors such as Mace is highly desirable.

This role requires a proactive individual with a hands-on approach to project management and a strong focus on quality and cost efficiency. Candidates without the ability to independently prepare programmes, manage labour resources, and produce detailed reports will not be considered.
