Project Manager - Facilities Management - East Kilbride - 56,860 inclusive of car allowance, plus excellent benefits.
This company, a National player in the FM world, require a Project Manager to be based on one their world class client's contracts based in East Kilbride.
An outstanding opportunity to become part of truly first-rate facilities and play an integral role in delivering multiple projects related to new works within allocated budgets and defined programme.
Salary: 56,860 inclusive of car allowance, plus excellent benefits.

Location: East Kilbride
Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare specifications briefs in consultation with staff.
- Prepare labour plans and update labour trackers with real life information.
- Appoint and manage specialist contractors for the SOR's.
- Work with the SPM & site supervisors to ensure the works are on target and to update programs and weekly project reports for the client.
- Ensure all RAMS are suitable and sufficient whether work is subcontracted or delivered by an in-house team and are in place and adhered to.
- Manage projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover and invoicing.
- Co-ordinate the procurement and resource planning within the requirements of the contract needs
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage all Health and Safety matters (CDM) in accordance with procedures and current relevant legislation.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven and extensive experience within a Project management role in the Facilities Management/Building Services Industry.
- Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline would be an important pre-requisite of the role.
- Proven track record to the successful delivery of multi-task building, electrical and mechanical services related projects.
- Ability to liaise with and supervise contractors.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices
- To be able to communicate at all levels, with excellent written and oral skills.
- IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft suite of packages
- To be able to use Microsoft Project to basic standard as a minimum.
- Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects.
- Preferably to hold SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH
