A boutique FM consultancy that specialises within the building services industry is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team due to growing demand for their services. This ambitious enterprise has been in operation for 2 years, boasting exponential growth due to excellent service delivery. The main duties are as follows:
- Manage subcontractor enquiries and compile financial reviews/comparisons.
- Assist Project Managers with valuations, variations, and overall financial management.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to finalise sourcing strategies and ensure timely delivery of materials and services from project initiation to completion.
- Coordinate works, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing progress.
- Attend meetings, site visits, validations, and provide accurate meeting minutes.
- Assist in updating trackers, work order management systems, and project documentation.
- Support the preparation and review of tender documents, including PQQs.
- Prepare and distribute requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and contractors based on project or procurement needs.
- Compile and assess subcontractor performance and resources.
- Ensure effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with designers to finalise project details and ensure seamless delivery from concept development to project completion.
- Monitor works progress, address challenges, and ensure successful delivery within timelines.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, sourcing and evaluating quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive bids and manage project costs.
- Maintain a database of historical cost data for use in future projects and estimates.
