The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our clients team based in the Swansea area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 40,000 per annum

Hours of work: Days / Full time

Location: Swansea

Our client is a rapidly growing Beauty tech company that has achieved remarkable success in recent years. In our pursuit of continuous growth, we have developed an exciting pipeline of innovations that we aim to bring to the market in the coming years. To strengthen our project and programme capability, we are seeking an experienced project manager.


Summary:
Plan, execute, and supervise projects to meet management's strategic objectives, ensuring delivery within quality, budget, and schedule.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and successful project implementation.
Effectively manage change within projects, anticipate and address potential roadblocks, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
Track project progress, set deadlines, and identify potential risks, taking responsibility for completing project work in line with the plan.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and senior executives, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Actively seek opportunities for process improvements, promote a culture of continuous learning, and implement best practices to enhance project management effectiveness and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Meet with management to identify project requirements, delivery timelines, resource allocation, and costs.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and Gantt charts to guide project teams, revising them as needed based on changing requirements.
  • Coordinate the project teams, ensuring alignment, and effective communication.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
  • Adhere to the company's new product development tollgate process, ensuring that all required gates and checkpoints are properly followed and documented.
  • Compile and submit project status reports to management, providing updates on project milestones, risks, and achievements.
  • Develop effective communication skills to liaise efficiently with all project stakeholders.
  • Conduct project closeout activities, evaluating successes and challenges to facilitate learning for future projects.


Key objectives:

  • Time to Market: Measure project launch speed.
  • Budget Adherence: Track adherence to allocated budget.
  • Product Quality: Evaluate customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements.


Experience:

Must: Demonstrate experience and expertise in end-to-end NPD project management, from concept creation to market introduction. IS familiar with tollgate processes.
Hold a project qualification such as Prince2, APM, or PMICSM.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management software.
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent education.


Ideal: Proven track record of launching consumer products in CE and/or medical territories
