Consultant Ecology Project Manager

Salary 27,000 - 32,000

A leading Ecological consultancy based in rural Hampshire, is looking for a Consultant-level Ecologist to join them in a Project Management-based position. This is a great opportunity for an individual passionate about ecology, who is looking to grow their career in a friendly, collaborative environment, in a company who will support you with excellent training and development opportunities.

You'll be working as part of a supportive team of experienced ecologists, providing expert advice and implementing a variety of survey and mitigation strategies across a wide range of projects.

Ecologist Requirements:

  • A degree in Ecology or similar relevant subject
  • Experience within Ecological Consultancy (Essential)
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in small to medium-sized projects (Essential)
  • Excellent report writing skills - PEA, EIA and BNG reports
  • Protected Species Licence(s)
  • Understanding of UK and European Ecological legislation
  • IT Proficiency
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • The right to work in the UK (Essential)
  • QGIS Experience
  • CIEEM Membership
