Morson are currently partnering with a fantastic Engineering company who are on the lookout for a Project Manager for a long term contract opportunity. The project will be working on projects at a Naval base in Scotland.

The positions available are to integrate into the client organisation to support the delivery of multiple major programmes of works. As part of their programme and project delivery team the projects include new build facilities and refurbishment of the existing estate to support current and future operations. The packages of works may include civils, structural, M&E, etc, with established projects teams.

Key Requirements
• Able to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver benefits to the project.
• Equipped with strong communication skills to enable engagement with a wide range of Stakeholders.
• Comfortable negotiating a way through conflict.
• The Project Manager is accountable for overall performance of assigned work packages
• Delivery of assigned packages of work as per the NEC4 contract conditions.
• Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages.
• Risk management.
Essential:
• Available to work in Glasgow or onsite (within an hour of Glasgow) 3 days week.
• Active SC clearance or the ability to gain SC clearance.
• Engineering design/manufacturing construction and commissioning experience.
• NEC4 ECC Experience (3 years)
• NEC4 PSC Experience (3 years)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a project as a Project Manager in a highly regulated industry.
• Full lifecycle experience from business case approval, design, execution, handover.
• Experience of change control.
• Experience of risk management.
• HND in a related engineering/manufacturing/construction/project management discipline or relevant experience.
Desired:
• NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager.
• Association for Project Management Registered Project Professional.
• SMSTS.
• Degree in a related engineering/construction/project management discipline.
• Previous experience working in the marine / defence / oil and gas industries.
• Chartership from a related discipline.
• CEMAR experience.
