The Role
Are you a dynamic Project Manager ready to take on a pivotal role in driving projects to successful completion? Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of customer orders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to budget. This is a senior position, where you ll lead multi-functional teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure all projects meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resources for multiple projects.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure all projects meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
What You ll Bring:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP certification (or similar) preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, ideally within the valve or manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
