Our client, a pioneering player in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and contribute to transmission projects across the UK.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all aspects of safety and CDM compliance for EPC projects in your portfolio
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution for EPC Transmission projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients for your projects
  • Responsible for the profit and loss and successful completion of projects within specified dates
  • Support the preparation of EPC proposals and presentations
  • Provide overall project management from concept to completion
  • Drive project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs
  • Manage project resourcing and advise on subcontractor and supply chain selection


Functional Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Project Manager(s) or Contract/Framework Managers in the UK
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of project execution under your portfolio in the UK
  • Help to build world-class project management capability in the UK
  • Develop bid stage technical solutions with partners and engineering team
  • Interact professionally with clients and colleagues to achieve project objectives
  • Recognise the requirement and have the flexibility to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business
  • Work autonomously and as part of a project team
  • Mentor others within the team


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • Experience in transmission project management with substation-related projects
  • Relevant professional qualification or accreditation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Membership in a relevant industry body preferred, e.g., The IET, ICE
