We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Baggage Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of baggage handling projects within the airport. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage baggage handling projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including airport authorities, airlines, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of baggage handling systems and airport operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
