GBP400 per day (umbrella) - negotiable

Full Time Contract (6 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Project Manager in Walsall. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer mostly remote working with a few days in the office a month.

The job:

• To provide project management level oversight and expertise to the Transformational Programme
• To assist in the planning, commissioning, implementing, performance monitoring and evaluating transformational programmes and any delegated budgets
• To be accountable for the project budget reporting any risk / slippage to the Programme Manager / Assistant Director of Transformation & Digital
• Contribute to complex policy development related to Business Change Projects that require the development and drafting of new policies
• Lead, design, implement and monitor new ways of working which may lead to proposed policy and procedure changes

The candidate:

• Experience in a project management role in a local authority setting is essential

• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2)

• Ability to influence policy, manage change, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
