We are seeking a Specialist Equipment Installation Coordinator to join our team in Coventry. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and has a strong understanding of the manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling contractors, assisting in planning manufacturing processes, understanding Bill of Materials (BOM), and coordinating with stock control to ensure the smooth installation of specialist equipment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Schedule and coordinate contractors to ensure timely and efficient installation of equipment.
- Assist in planning and overseeing the manufacturing of specialist equipment.
- Understand and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project.
- Coordinate with stock control to maintain inventory levels and ensure the availability of necessary components.
- Work closely with project managers to outline project objectives and participate in project meetings.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Organise project-related documentation and maintain up-to-date digital filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to define ongoing project objectives.
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Track and report on project management metrics and key performance indicators.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a specialist equipment installation environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating contractors.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Experience in stock control and inventory management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organised with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
