FINTEC recruit is seeking a Marine Project Manager for our marine client who are based in South Shields. This is a permanent full time role, working Monday to Friday with a focus on marine projects. Salary negotiable by experience up to circa GBP40,000. Knowledge/experience of ex-RN, Naval, Marine background is an essential for this role. You will be a marine engineer (experience with both mechanical and electrical systems) who is now looking to progress your leadership and engineering expertise in project management.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and delivery of projects and operational marine functions
• Working with customers in liaising with project monitoring and delivery
• Assist with feasibility studies
• Working closely on a daily basis with various stakeholders eg Vessel Managers, naval regulatory authority, clients and internal staff

Skills and Experience required for the Project Manager role:

• Experience of feasibility studies and design solutions for projects on ships/vessels
• Marine engineering experience, mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Supervisory experience with ability to facilitate change and motivate teams
• EX-RN, Naval, Marine background experience and knowledge is essential .
• Good project management and planning skills
