The Opportunity
Looking for an experienced Operations Manager to be responsible for the overall performance relating to service, repairs and maintenance of the business. The goal of the Operations Manager is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention, with a keen focus on increasing revenues and reducing costs.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction to all customers in line with our 5-Star Customer Promise, manage and monitor all day-to-day activities within the service, repairs and maintenance team and complaints
- Effectively manage and monitor the P&L of the department, complete worksheet billing and maximise gross profitability of all services
- Produce accurate reports to ensure works are completed, deadlines are met, revenue and costs are evaluated
- Responsible for effectively managing all Service Contracts in line with SLA s
- Participate in the of pricing of parts, labour and other charges connected with operational activities and ensure policies and procedures are reviewed and up to date
- Manage, monitor and motivate the team to consistently meet customer and company expectations
- Oversee Out of Office Services and Management
- PPM s/Assist with Accreditations
- Schedule works for all engineers (PAYE/Sub-Contract)
- All jobs to be accurately recorded within Company s designated CRM/software packages
- Job Records & Documentation all engineering activities to be documented and recorded, and time accurately costed as required
- Administration & Documentation ManagementSoftware Systems Management
- Job Costing all engineering, administration and management time to be documented and recorded, and time accurately costed as required
- Complaints Management
- QHSE Management
Skills and personal attributes
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Operations Manager in a similar field/sector
- Fire & Security Industry Knowledge
- CRM, Microsoft Office (advanced level) experience
- Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Initiative and the ability to focus on existing and new opportunities and solutions
- Good organisational and team building skills
- Leadership and motivational skills
- Decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Time-management skills
The Package
Salary GBP45,000 (subject to experience) + performance related bonus
Hours of work 40 hours per week Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Northolt, Middlesex)
Holidays - 20 per year (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years) plus 8 Bank holidays
