Senior Manager to lead a client portfolio for a market leading Top 100 independent firm

Your new company I am currently partnering with a highly renowned regional Top 100 firm who are looking to appoint an experienced Portfolio Senior Manager to their growing client services team. Your new role

  • Typically, working with OMBs across Cheshire, and some a bit further afield across the North West, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of clients where you will manage their day-to-day financial requirements, as well as looking at opportunities to up-sell and add additional services from across the firm.
  • You will be passionate about delivering an exceptional service and going above and beyond for your clients to solidify that long-term relationship.
  • You will have the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio across a wide range of industries, making every day unique.
  • Furthermore, you will support and lead on training and guidance for the team delivering on your portfolio, and across the wider Accounts business where appropriate.
  • Collaboration with the wider will be a key part of your role.
  • You will manage your own WIP and budgeting, and report directly to the Partners with regular updates, as well as manage timeframes.

What you'll need to succeed
  • You will have a proven track record of servicing a large portfolio of clients, maintaining previous relationships but also developing new potential business from business development, networking and pitching for work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to deliver to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, as well as internal teams across all levels.
  • The drive and ability to produce results - this is a growing firm with widening opportunities.
  • A Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA) with a solid amount of experience post qualification.
