Assistant Commercial and Project Manager
An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Commercial and Project Manager with a real passion for supporting the building surveying team. Joining our Asset Management team, you’ll develop a wide range of valuable skills and knowledge. Due to the varied nature of our work, it’s vital that you’re highly flexible and keen to learn and grow in all of the areas and sectors we work in.
We are looking for commercially minded project support with enthusiasm, energy and the ability to work under their own initiative and meet our Commercial Manager and client’s expectations. You will be busy and challenged within your role.
From day one, you’ll get stuck in to a huge variety of duties. We’ll expect you to assist one our Commercial Manager with undertaking internal governance and a variety of projects effectively and of a standard to satisfy or exceed client requirements. You should be a team player and able to deliver to tight deadlines.
Activities will include all aspects of project delivery support from start to finish including quality control, financial duties - including cost control, reporting, invoicing, managing cash flow, programming, resourcing, health and safety aspects, client and stakeholder liaison, and other tasks related to the flexible delivery of the office requirements. The role will also include support in bid management.
You’ll bring to the role a keen interest in developing skills in project management and support, building surveying and asset management. You’ve also got great communication skills, a collaborative approach and a proven ability to deliver on your promises. In addition, you should ideally have experience in project support and management. Ideally you should be working toward a professional qualification in Project Management, you should have a proactive nature to develop new skills and learning, it is essential that you have knowledge of relevant software solutions, and you should be suitable for security clearance.
The role is based at our London office however regular travel to our Manchester office will be required.
