Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Contract Length: 12 Months (Renewable)

Location: Hybrid (remote working with visits to site location 2/3 days per month - site locations will be in the north of England)

Daily Rate: Up to 600pd DOE (Inside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP

About the role

We are seeking a talented Electrical project manager to join the Asset Operations Technical Service & Delivery (TS&D) team. As the Electrical Project Manager you will oversee and manage the key electrical projects within operations and be responsible driving forward the project to meet deadlines.

The role involve being member of, and supporting, the EDF Renewables asset operations team. You will be also working on diverse portfolio of onshore and offshore wind, solar, storage and private wire projects within the UK and Ireland.

What you will be doing day to day

  • Leading by example by maintaining the highest level of standards to comply with SHEQ requirements whilst taking care of both personal health and safety of others.
  • Challenging Current thinking and processes to seek alternative methods to continuously improve standards and develop cases
  • Supporting the Asset Operations department in finding robust and innovative solutions to meet EDFR technical requirements and other relevant standards.
  • Develop comprehensive project pans, including scopes, timeline and budget forecast
  • Collaborate with CTO Engineers, contractors, area managers, asset managers to define the project requirements
  • Review of electrical designs ensuring they comply to industry standards
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Ensure milestone are met and promptly addressed delays or unforeseen issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestone and any potential risks

What do you need to be great at this role?

  • Proven Leader successful in delivering projects, programs, establishing/managing relationships, securing and maintaining a safe environment, managing priority's, and inspiring and influencing behaviours
  • Strong commitment to Heathy, Safety and Quality
  • Experience of leading project team effectively to deliver the project goals and objectives
  • Comfortable communicating at a variety of levels in a appropriate level of detail
  • Minimum of HNC/HND in engineering/electrical Discipline
  • NEBOSH Or IOSH (or Equivalent)
  • Excellent at building relationships with external partners, stakeholders and reporting line
  • Flexible to travel around the UK and overseas as the role requires
  • Full UK driving Licence
