GBP24.43 - GBP32.32 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for a project manager to support the plant production team of one of our international Aerospace clients. You will provide end to end project management support across operations improvement with a focus on safety, quality and cost. The role is based in Filton over a 12-month contract at a rate of GBP24.43 per hour PAYE or GBP32.32 per hour Umbrella.

Responsibilities

• Project management, project integration with regular general progress reviews
• Prepare facility improvement business cases for presentation
• Preparing Capital expenditure (CAPEX) presentations
• Report on Financial & CAPEX to relevant managers
• Work enablement with internal stakeholders and external support
• Keep progress management up to date ensuring the timely delivery of projects within the agreed expenditure

Essential Requirements

• At least 2 years previous end-to-end project management experience in the engineering or production industries
• Able to negotiate budgets for project proposals
• Varied experience using project management tools
• Experience of managing multiple projects in parallel
• Experience of budget management, working with a CAPEX financial process
• Investigative and problem-solving skills of financial expenditure and budgets
• Risk mitigation experience
• IT Skills within basic digital project management tools such as Microsoft suite

Desirable Requirements

• A working knowledge of ZOHO
• Financial tracking and monitoring in Excel or similar
• Experience producing KPIs and metrics
• Comfortable using Google suite
• Project Management experience in the Aerospace industry
• Knowledge of aircraft production processes
• Knowledge of digital tools
