Resident Services Project Manager

Our client is looking for a motivated Resident Services Project Manager to join their Housing team and play a crucial role in delivering innovative projects that improve services and drive value for money. The Role
As the Resident Services Project Manager, you will work closely with the Resident Services Management Team to implement essential projects that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will lead on a variety of tasks, from developing income collection streams (garages, parking, community centres) to implementing value-for-money initiatives and reducing service costs without compromising quality.
Your role will involve research, stakeholder engagement, and overcoming operational barriers to improve outcomes for residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong communication with Ward Councillors, project management, and providing creative solutions to complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
Drive forward service improvements and value-for-money initiatives across Resident Services.
Manage and implement key projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of targets.
Communicate effectively with Ward Councillors and stakeholders, including conducting resident consultations and managing sensitive issues.
Explore partnership opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high service standards.
Monitor and improve service charters and agreements, ensuring consistent performance.
Lead on financial inclusion initiatives to support residents impacted by welfare reforms.
Investigate complaints and underperformance, implementing strategies for improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
Significant experience in social housing or a similar environment, managing projects in a dynamic and changing landscape.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, lead complex initiatives, and communicate effectively with various audiences.
Deep understanding of housing management best practices, government policy, and relevant legislation, as well as financial exclusion strategies.
Ability to think creatively, solve complex issues, and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
A relevant housing or management qualification is desirable, along with Prince 2 or equivalent project management experience.
