This is an exciting opportunity to work with an employee owned, award-winning, multi-disciplinary design, construction and consultancy company operating in the UK and Europe. We specialise in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life science and technology sectors, with a broad customer base including large corporate clients.
We are looking for a Project Manager, based in South Wales or South West England, to work in our brand-new regional office in Cardiff. In order to fulfil this key role, you will have wide experience as a Project Manager, using recognised project management principles and practice in a technology design and construction contracting environment, across a range of project values from small works up to £25m capital value. Preferably you will have experience within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector in building or MEP service delivery.
With strong organisational, communication and management skills, as well as the ability to manage concurrent projects, you will also be able to successfully develop, inspire and lead project teams to deliver objectives.
You will need a background in a relevant building or engineering discipline, with subject matter expertise and ideally be chartered or working towards chartered status with a recognised professional body. Strong competence in time, cost, quality and relationship management are essential requirements of this role. Experience of preparing tenders for new business would be highly advantageous.
The role will require visiting client sites and hence flexibility towards travelling will be required along with a full driving licence.
