IT Project Manager
Bodycote Group IT requires an enthusiastic IT Project Manager who will lead the delivery of Infrastructure and Business Improvement projects across the UK and Europe. Working closely and collaboratively with IT and business colleagues to ensure consistently high delivery standards, this role requires a thorough understanding of IT Infrastructures and hardware as well as demonstrating Project Management best practice.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of business-critical IT projects Ensure adherence to the project management methodology Build on techniques and best practice available to help provide continuous improvement to Bodycote's Project Management approach Management of project delivery staff whilst allocated to projects Proactively manage project risks, issues and changes Work with the Head of IT Projects and the IT Management Team to facilitate an integrated team approach to project delivery Communicate effectively with technical, business, operations and support audiences and uses specialist knowledge to engage them appropriately Develop and foster relationships with key business users
Qualifications, experience and skills:
Must be educated to a Degree level or equivalent or possess highly relevant experience Project management accreditation preferable (PRINCE2, PMI etc.) Must have 5+ years Project Management experience Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneous Experience of managing project teams of up to 10 people Proven delivery experience covering both IT Infrastructure and application projects Excellent team player with first-rate written and verbal communication skills Excellent knowledge of project management methods and procedures Needs to be responsive and accountable with a strong sense of personal ownership Excellent planning and management skills. Self-motivated and a good problem solver. Fluent in French, German or Swedish advantageous but not essential. A true 'people person' capable of operating at all levels and with all business functions.
