Mechanical & Electrical Site Manager / Project Manager (MEP Manager)

• Position: Project Manager (MEP Experience within Construction)
• Location: Gosport, Hampshire
• Duration: 18 months - 5 days a week. (Hybrid working site & home base)
• Project: Commercial project worth over GBP12 million
• Pay rate GBP325p/d - GBP350p/d based on experience

Are you a seasoned Site Manager / Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical?

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to oversee the M&E package of a large-scale commercail project in Gosport, Hampshire. This is a high-profile 18-month project with a budget exceeding GBP12 million, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver excellence.

You must have compitent knoweldge in both mechanical and electrical management and have worked on large scale, commercail projects.

This is a client facing, consutling role, so you will be involved in advising the main client on their M&E package, involved in dealing with the client, design teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the M&E package
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met within the allocated budget.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including client, contractor, and onsite teams.
• Implement and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with specific expertise in Mechanical & Electrical - across large & high value projects
• Strong track record of successfully managing large-scale commercail & or residential projects.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, regulations, and standards.
• Qualification in Mechanical or elelectrical, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
