My client is a multi-disciplined main contractor in the South, specialising in projects from the following sectors:

• Commercial
• Local Government
• Education
• Health care
• Commercial and Retail
• Student accommodation

The focus of the role will be to coordinate the sub-contractor teams and manage both the logistics and quality of works as well as the health and safety in a live hospital environment .

Candidates must have worked for a main contractor in the past and be able to display a hands-on approach and within commutable distance of reading

The project is to work on a number of high-tech refurbishments on hospital grounds including live ward refurbishment and elements of internal and external refurbishment across the site , ideally you will have both health care and refurb experience and be able to be the stand alone Site Manager / Project Manager reporting to the Contracts Manager on a weekly basis .

Candidates must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid and have worked on similar projects in the uk in the past

Candidates must be from either a HNC / ONC / degree qualified or trades background with a solid work history as a Project / Site Manager.
