This is an amazing opportunity for a procurement, project management and P2P professional to consolidate their skills and help drive the success of an ambitious company. You’ll be able to make a significant contribution to the success of the company and enhance the portfolio of clients.
Joining this global leading company, you will discover early payment solutions that are way ahead of the competition, engaged teams of experts and a wealth of opportunities to ensure that you thrive.
As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with driving forward the company’s project portfolio, working across the full project lifecycle focusing on the implementation and live stages of the payment solution. In this home and field-based role, a likely working pattern will see you spending Monday and Friday working from home and the remaining three days on the road visiting clients, building relationships and facilitating partnerships.
The company’s payment solutions enable discounts to be provided to parties who pay their accounts, debts or bills early. This involves both the debtor and the creditor signing up to the solution to ensure a two-way partnership.
You will act in a central role within this process and will work with both corporate and public sector clients. Ensuring parties are engaged with the solution, you will manage stakeholder relationships, take ownership of day-to-day project management and sell the proposition to high value suppliers, bringing them on-board with the company’s early payment programme.
Your role will involve:
- Building strong relationships with senior procurement figures and other stakeholders
- 'Managing upwards’ both internally and externally in terms of expectations
- Engaging and managing client and in-house function leads and teams
- Supporting the Account Team to deliver programme aims and enhance company reputation
- Negotiating suitable commercial terms where appropriate
To be considered as a Project Manager, you will need experience of the following:
- Procurement (particularly sourcing)
- Project management
Ideal candidates will also have an understanding of traditional purchasing models and current and O2C & P2P issues however, this is by no means essential.
Other organisations may call this role Project Manager, Procurement Project Manager, Supply Chain Project Manager, Payment Solutions Project Manager, Procurement Manager, P2P Project Manager, or Sourcing Project Manager.
