Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Natural Stone Project Manager and Surveyor to join our dynamic team, specializing in high-end residential projects in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and surveying within the natural stone sector, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of natural stone projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Surveying: Conduct detailed site surveys and assessments, evaluating project requirements and specifications related to natural stone materials.
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Material Selection: Advise clients on the selection of natural stone materials, considering aesthetics, durability, and sustainability.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare detailed project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work complies with industry standards and client expectations, conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a culture of health and safety on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management and surveying within the natural stone or construction industry, particularly in high-end residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of natural stone materials, their properties, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and surveying tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, surveying, or a related field (e.g., RICS accreditation is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
