The Project Manager will assist the Director of Global Product Management and Global Sales team in the efficient implementation of projects from initial customer enquiry through to design, development, testing & implementaton. This role will primarily focus on the development of room gassing systems for the healthcare and life science sectors. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic and an excellent communicator since the projects will require the co-ordination of many of the internal company departments, building relationships with sub-suppliers as well as updating the project manager with key project information. Some exposure to customers can also be expected from the role, so a basic understanding of the market would be beneficial. The role will require the management of numerous projects so the ability to work in a systematic way on parallel activities is critical to delivering to demanding timescales. Team working is highly encouraged however the candidate must also show their own initiative when tackling problems. Responsibilities. § To ensure successful execution of projects from early stages to project implementation. § Creation & updating project / resource plans & action lists. § To support international subsidiaries, distributors and agents with more complex projects which will involve travel within the EU and may involve some international travel. § Presenting, report & minute writing. § Creation and maintenance of project documentation (e.g. project initiation documentation, risk & issue registers, etc). § Reviewing technical and customer facing documents (e.g. user requirement specifications, user manuals, test protocols, etc). § Organizing and undertaking a variety of project tasks Key skills required for the position. Essential skills:. § 2 years' experience within a similar role in a technical or engineering environment. § Fluent English communication skills - both verbal and written, with a confident and professional manner. § Ideally qualified in an engineering subject to a degree level but appropriate aptitude and relevant experience are equally important. § Excellent Microsoft office skills. § The ability to write reports concisely and accurately. Desirable skills:. § A second language would be desirable, but not essential. § It would be an advantage, though not essential, for the candidate to have experience of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare sectors.
