Our client is a leading Ground engineering contractor based in the South, just slightly north of Brighton. They are currently looking for a senior Quality Control manager with a background in a civil engineering related field. They are looking for a Contract/Quality Control Manager to join their thriving business.

This is a high level role with an excellent salary on offer.

With the role being mainly office based the Quality Control Manager needs to live within an hours drive of the area.

Main duties as below.

Running the day today link between our site team and client ensuring projects are on target and works are being carried out correctly/safely.

Checking the QA such as concrete cubes and pile testing records are up to date.

Issuing weekly QA to clients (sometimes daily depending on client requirements).

Attending some pre start meetings and progress meetings via teams or on site.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients

Reporting to MD on progress/issues across current projects.The Successful candidate must be personable, approachable and be able to demonstrate strong leadership whilst maintaining professional working relationships.

A piling background would be of an advantage but not necessary, the candidate must have a good understanding of groundworks in general though.

Confident in I.T in general for creating reports and spreadsheets.

Must be reliable with good time keeping and be able to manage/prioritise workload.
