Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our clients team based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. Applications from other areas in Scotland will be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise, and oversee construction projects from start to finish

- Develop project programmes, schedules, and monitor costs

- Coordinate and manage all project activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, design teams and clients

- Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

- Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to

- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates and address any issues that may arise

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop contingency plans

- Manage project documentation and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained

- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations

- Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, budget, and any issues or delays

- Mentor and train the site team

Qualifications and Skills:

- Construction Management or Supervision SVQ or equivalent

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management

- SMSTS

- First Aid at Work certificate

- CSCS Card at Managers level

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents

- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge of relevant building regulations

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
