Project Manager - Cladding Project
Contract (12 months remaining) or Temp / Perm
North London (10 mins from underground or parking on site available)
Start ASAP
Project Manager required for a main contractor to deliver an existing cladding project in North London.
This 13m cladding project comprises of Hilti Facades with NVELOPE back frame, on circa 300 apartments, with existing cladding to be stripped back to the concrete. The work includes all fire stops, fire breaks and fire barriers.
The contractor has been on site for a year and current stage is: one elevation has been stripped, with new cladding ready to go back on.
This is a challenging project due to Network rail tracks on both sides of the building.
Must have:
At least 5yrs cladding experience, ideally working for a main contractor as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager
Working knowledge of Microsoft Projects (must be able to knock up a short-term target programme). The company has people who create and update the main programme.
Good knowledge of RAMS - to liaise with the company in house HSE
Confident, presentable and assertive in client meetings
Excellent with paperwork. This is a very much a paperwork exercise / office-based role with occasional site walk-arounds, with a site team reporting to you.
Used to reporting upstream and delivering correct info downstream (head in the details, drawings - lots of checking over and over)
Ideally some time spent (track-record) with previous employers
Working at Height - experience and knowledge (would not suit someone afraid of heights )
Good knowledge of hoists, cradles and scaffold (130 ft high elevations)
If you have the relevant experience as stated above and would like to apply for this Cladding Project Manager Job in London, then please contact Spencer Wade or email an updated CV to removed).
