We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Project Manager to join our team based in South East London. This role will be to manage and undertake responsibility for the delivery of projects within the Residential Sector, with exposure to other industry sectors.

As a Project Manager you will be fully autonomous, operating independently and as part of a team to deliver projects with values of £200,000 to 5 million or more. These projects will be from inception through to completion, delivered on time, to budget and to a very high standard. Furthermore, you will be required to come in and pickup projects without requiring much assistance or guidance, so full knowledge of relevant areas, processes and possible queries is a must!

Your day to day responsibilities may include:

  • Manage the delivery of projects, producing the required deliverables including budget, time constraints and quality requirements.
  • Communicate and develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team. Representing KM Building Group in a professional and diligent manner.
  • Preparing and presenting technical 2D / 3D design solutions using Auto CADand traditional methods
  • Producing production information to construction team
  • Liaising with Project Managers, Designers, Commercial Team and Programmers to ensure smooth delivery of the schemes programme
  • From close working relationships with the scheme designers and subcontractors as well as colleagues within the integrated team
  • Producing construction packages
  • Undertaking technical research in to products and building materials
  • Assisting with site inspections by either condition surveys, site progress and analysis of build work and defects
  • Undertaking quality inspections, i.e. snagging
  • Preparing meeting notes and record events as required
  • Preparing photographic, sketch up and 3D visuals
  • Assisting with the detailed design process of small schemes and layouts for space planning

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years UK experience
  • High level of knowledge and proven experience in the delivery of projects
  • Proven ability, confident in dealing with a variety of, including complex, issues
  • Confident working in technical design and construction stages
  • Experienced in the technical delivery of standard and bespoke detailing within the high-end residential sector
  • The ability to carry out all aspects of detailing and construction information for high-end residential projects
  • A high level of proficiency in AutoCAD is required for this appointment
  • Confident hitting the ground running and able to work using your own initiative
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal English
