Project Director

Come and join our commercial project management team as a Project Director. You will get the opportunity to manage a variety of commercial content and marketing solutions across multiple channels as well as creating high value relationships with internal and external clients. You will be comfortable managing large, complex commercial projects and be motivated by providing a first class service.

Our Project Directors are vital to the sales process, consulting at pitch stage, checking the feasibility of projects, ensuring processes and procedures are in place in order to deliver on time to budget, evolving campaigns where necessary and delivering a post campaign analysis. Ensuring the client’s needs are at the heart of this process is paramount.

This is a great opportunity to work across the entire FT portfolio of products, creating strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the business and with clients externally.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding client service on every campaign under your management, key point of contact for all stakeholders and be a trusted partner to clients and agencies.

  • Advise and consult on key areas of expertise, ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place internally so projects run on time to budget so as to maximise profit

  • Work closely with key internal teams to ensure a complete understanding of the FT’s portfolio to identify appropriate environments and be able to advocate them to clients and agencies.

  • Manage the production and delivery of branded content and partnership publishing campaigns from pitch to campaign analysis

  • Contribute your ideas to drive change and implement processes and workflows that will enable a more efficient and effective delivery of projects

  • Coach, mentor and develop the talent in the project management team.

  • Desire to contribute new ideas and improvements to existing processes based on experience and insight

  • A meticulous attention to detail with the ability to pre-empt problems

  • A first-class communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business

  • Personal gravitas, presence and credibility with people at all levels of the client and agency world

  • A strong record in creating long-term client relationships and providing the highest level or service

  • Results-driven, high-performing, high-quality work attitude

  • A self-starter, entrepreneurial individual, able to demonstrate past success in managing innovative projects that meet client needs and generate strong profit.

  • Highly organised, numerate and with a high level of attention to detail.
