Project Director - Construction Consultancy (Higher Education)

A construction consultancy requires a client-facing Project Director to oversee capital projects for a higher education client, and in addition to secure further instructions from the long-term framework agreement. They currently have two projects running with a value of £50 million, and concurrent smaller value projects, with others in the pipeline.

The role has arisen to free up the head of office who currently deals with this workload, and they can then focus on business development activities and growing the team.

You should be an experienced construction Project Manager with a background in higher education projects from either a consultancy or client-side role.

You should have chartered status with an appropriate professional body (APM, CIOB, MRICS) and have the gravitas to deal with projects of this size.
