Please note this role is open to all candidates in London, Lymedale or Weymouth
To manage the Retail Programme and Activity Planner for all activity impacting stores, ensuring that only authorised programmes are undertaken and the correct governance and methodology is applied to ensure excellent retail execution.
To plan, manage, co-ordinate and deliver Retail Projects; by organising tasks and resources to the agreed target as part of an overall programme of change.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Support in the delivery of the Retail Strategy, through effective management of future requirements, ways of working and innovative solutions, ensuring it aligns and enables the business plans.
Develop and maintain appropriate programme tracking tools to ensure the key deliverables of the programme are delivered.
Conduct regular and timely evaluations on the programme in order to challenge and support it for optimal retail execution.
Measure and objectively feedback on project feedback on project progress before, during and following execution against the retail business criteria.
Work with Project owners to ensure that clear and timely communications and the training resources are produced for Retail.
Shape and define the design, development and implementation of Retail Projects.
Develop the Programme Overview dashboard to track performance on a periodic basis.
Raise awareness and facilitate the Retail Steering Committee on a monthly basis
Ownership of the Retail Activity Planner to ensure activity launches effectively to stores at the right time
Provide direction, support and advice to both internal and external project development and delivery teams.
Support the Retail Operations team in managing trials by applying project management governance.
Clear communication and engagement of external and internal customers and suppliers about requirements and timescales
Deputise for the Head of Retail Operations when required.

Knowledge and Experience
Proven track record of effective delivery of projects
The ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
Excellent communication skills to facilitate coordination, issue/risk management, prioritisation and progress reporting.
A track record of liaising with customers on complex and potentially difficult matters.
An attitude and ability to provide solutions
Always seeking continuous improvement
Self motivational and clear appreciation of goals for the projects.
Experience within a retail environment – both support centre and store.
Customer focussed (both internal & external) commercial attitude
Ability to work with key business stakeholders at all levels.
High focus on business profitability
Strong and developed leadership skills
