Thanks to positive and regular growth year on year, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Novicell as a Digital Project Manager at their central London office.

The successful Digital Project Manager will have a background in digital (web dev) project management. You will have worked in a consultancy/agency setting before, having managed a portfolio of customers with varying demands and requirements.

Digital Project Manager with business understanding

Your primary task will be to plan and manage web development projects from start to finish. We have several clients already on this journey with us. Some started more recently than others. With the right support and guidance from the Head of Operations in the UK, and our project teams in Denmark and Spain, you would take over these projects, owning their success.

You will be given a high degree of responsibility from the start, and good opportunities to positively influence your own business day. Over a week, you will work as a ‘classical’ project manager, planning and preparing status reports, but you will also take part in process optimisation and learn more about software architecture or business intelligence. You will attend prospect and client meetings, sales pitches and events. As such, it is also crucial that you have a good deal of business understanding.

Digital Project Manager - Who are you?

It's your personality that really sets you up for this position. You are detail-orientated, accountable and a good communicator. You will be responsible for Novicell’s dialogue with the customer, agree what to do and when it will be delivered. You also have close dialogue with the developers on the project and you are responsible for the solutions you are working with.

We also ask that:

• You have experience as a project managed in the digital sphere
• You are passionate about project management and want to quickly grow your technical understanding so that you can engage in sparring about the solutions and architecture of projects.
• You are committed to creating a good user experience for your customers’ users.
• You are good at planning, project management, monitoring your projects and having a realistic approach to things.
• You can keep track of complex projects and manage and service all stakeholders in the project.
• You have experience in project management of agile development workflows
• You have excellent written and oral English skills
• You are good at communicating with both customers and colleagues
• You are used to stepping into your customers’ shoes
• You are a ‘player/manager’ - who can both have your fingers in the code, but also ensure that you don’t lose focus of your overall goals
