We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Operations Manager to oversee our Accounting & Finance department within our Life Science division, based in Gloucester.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable processes.
- Review and approve payment runs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with payroll preparation and audits.
- Sync inventory receipts and revenue/CoGs monthly.
- Develop and support the finance team.
- Implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience
- ACCA/CIMA (experience of greater value)
- Proficient in MS Excel; experience with MS Teams, Sage Intacct, and Outlook is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented
- Capable of multitasking and managing complex priorities
