Overview:
Join our client, an international software company in a newly created role in their growing team. As their Cloud Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 7 engineers in creating tools to enhance the performance, capacity, and availability of their cloud-based solutions. Reporting to the CTO, you'll be instrumental in shaping their cloud infrastructure strategy with a lot of interesting project work on the horizon.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure tools across various environments.
- Drive operational excellence and support our production services with a focus on AWS.
- Ensure effective audit, compliance, and Tier 3 technical support for troubleshooting.
- Cultivate a collaborative, change-driven environment and manage a growing team of engineers
Requirements:
- 10+ years in systems or operational management, with expertise in AWS and cloud technologies.
- Proficient in Agile/SAFe, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and networking.
- Strong skills in Python scripting, Unix shell, and Powershell, with a focus on transparency and collaboration.
- 5+ years experience in leading & managing a technical team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with various senior stakeholders
