Then this exciting opportunity to join the Project Delivery team within Strategic Estates at the House of Commons could be for you!

The Project Delivery Team is responsible for delivering a wide variety of construction and conservation projects on the Parliamentary Estate to meet the needs of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

Assistant Project Leaders are responsible for projects valued between £50,000 and £2.5 million, escalating issues, queries or concerns to their line manager. Assistant Project Leaders may also be given responsibility for various work streams coming from other larger projects, with Project Leaders and Senior Project Leaders managing higher value or more complex projects.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Pro-actively lead on projects or strands of projects, and be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and consultants.
  • Ensure that the project outcomes and requirements are adequately defined and that the needs of the users and all stakeholders are fully understood and accounted for.
  • Establish and communicate the timescales for the project. Ensure changes in project plan are communicated to team members
