Project Manager in Custom-Engineered Solutions

About the Role:
Our client, a respected name in custom-engineered solutions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Engineering team. They are looking for a proactive and experienced leader to take on the role, ensuring a seamless transition and keeping projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Overview:
As Project Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and lead all stages of complex engineering projects for demanding clients. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who can:
- Manage project delivery, ensuring it s on time and within budget
- Serve as the main point of contact with clients, fostering strong, professional relationships
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Engineering teams to define scope, execution plans, and procurement strategies
- Oversee project financials, including cost tracking and cash flow management
- Maintain thorough project documentation and handle change orders
- Coordinate resources effectively and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar project management role, ideally with exposure to oil & gas or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, and a willingness to learn SAP By Design
- Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for occasional international travel
- Full right to work in the UK is essential
