Project Manager in Custom-Engineered Solutions
Work Hours: Early finish every Friday!

Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to lead high-spec, custom-engineered projects? Do you thrive on taking complex projects from initial scope to successful delivery? If so, this may be the perfect role for you.

About the Role:

Our client, a respected name in custom-engineered solutions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their Engineering team. They are looking for a proactive and experienced leader to take on the role, ensuring a seamless transition and keeping projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Overview:

As Project Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and lead all stages of complex engineering projects for demanding clients. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who can:

  • Manage project delivery, ensuring it s on time and within budget
  • Serve as the main point of contact with clients, fostering strong, professional relationships
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Engineering teams to define scope, execution plans, and procurement strategies
  • Oversee project financials, including cost tracking and cash flow management
  • Maintain thorough project documentation and handle change orders
  • Coordinate resources effectively and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar project management role, ideally with exposure to oil & gas or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, and a willingness to learn SAP By Design
  • Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for occasional international travel
  • Full right to work in the UK is essential
