We’re seeking a methodical yet dynamic Project Manager to join our regional Project Management team, working closely with our Supply Chain and Operations departments across EMENA. The role will be responsible for managing our Brexit project initially with opportunity to also be involved in other complex, large scale, cross-functional projects. Acting as a key business partner, you’ll identify and prioritise opportunities to support business initiatives (long and short term), establishing clear objectives and benefits from the start. Following our established project management framework and working across the full project lifecycle, you’ll scope opportunities with stakeholders, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and KPI metrics and develop clear and robust project plans. This role will oversee execution activities across relevant functions and territories, assessing potential areas of risk and developing appropriate contingency plans to ensure high quality, compliant, on-time and on-budget completion. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, you’ll develop effective communication plans and maintain open dialogue with relevant groups to collect regular updates for progress reports. You’ll also be responsible for presenting project updates at regular Steering Committees to evaluate progress and identify any pinch-points.

In this fast-paced role, no two days are the same but the opportunities are huge! On a day-to-day basis you could be preparing materials or reports for meetings, through to presenting at leadership meetings or liaising with our parent company teams in India. Working across a broad range of senior-level projects in an ambitious and fast growing organisation, you’ll have the chance to make your mark and drive key strategic initiatives – from leading our Brexit operational plans and executing direct shipment models, to identifying opportunities to improve our efficiencies, consistency and productivity.

The Person:

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Project Manager with a good knowledge of a range of project management standards, methods, tools and applications and experience delivering large-scale, complex and cross-functional initiatives. Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry would be ideal, but experience in other highly regulated environments (e.g. food, finance) would be considered. A strong background in Supply Chain or Operations is also important for this role – be it managing specific projects in these areas (e.g. distribution model changes/design), or having significant experience through previous roles. Known for your strong organisation skills, you can autonomously manage a busy workload to meet deadlines and use your own initiative to solve complex problems in often challenging environments. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’re happy building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all seniority levels, navigating cultural differences and using your skills to challenge, influence, persuade and negotiate to get the right result. You also know when to act with tact and diplomacy or escalate issues appropriately. In this hands-on role, you’ll be comfortable spanning a broad range of tasks – from rolling up your sleeves to prepare materials, to operating in the spotlight with senior management. A degree-level qualification (or above) in a relevant subject would be advantageous, as would a recognised project management qualification (e.g. PMP, Agile, ITIL, Prince2) or demonstrable equivalent practical experience.
