Your new role
The commercial function within the client is responsible for the growth of the business through the acquisition of new gas and electricity networks. The department is undergoing a number of changes over the coming year - many involve increasing analytical insight and capability. A Project Support Lead is required to ensure these changes are successfully implemented, and that the changes deliver the intended benefits.

Your role will be supporting medium/large projects and taking the lead on smaller commercial projects, focused on new analytical insight and capability that will drive growth. Liaising with other departments to ensure dependencies are clear and that relevant stakeholders are informed. Communication (both consulting and informing) of changes being developed to impacted staff. Project administration and programme support for wider commercial plan. Reporting of project status and key risks to management. Supporting others in the delivery of assigned projects, where required. Identification of new issues prohibiting growth and the progression of solutions.

What You'll Need To Succeed

An understanding of projects is needed - but not an an out and out PM (this role will be about doing a lot of the doing, rather than organising/planning others to deliver). Ideally experienced in sales support. Some experience in managing/changing a process (however simple). Bright - picks new ideas/concepts up quickly (could also be a strong academic).

What You'll Get In Return

A 12 month fixed term contract is on offer at a salary of up to £35,000 for the year. You will be eligible for standard company benefits during the term of the contract.
