Job Project Delivery Manager (Rail Communication & Control systems)
Job Type Contract 9-12 Months
Main Purpose of the Role
Supervise and direct staff and processes to ensure successful delivery of test and commissioning work packages for a major infrastructure projects communication systems. Keep these work packages running smoothly and on time whilst meeting appropriate quality and safety standards, delivering the customer s requirements and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
The successful applicant must have experience in the following
Working with the engineering, testing and planning teams to develop programmes and resource schedules for delivery of the works
Organise teams and manage activities to deliver the works in accordance with the programme
Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are followed
Document and present progress at regular reviews with management and the customer
Coordinate work groups to troubleshoot problems
Assess risk and ensure contingency and risk management plans are in place
To be considered for this role you must have experience of delivering projects in a major Railway Communications or Control systems project environment preferably in the London area. You must understand the interfaces between third parties on major multi-disciplined rail projects in particular for communication systems. Previous experience of working on Crossrail, TFL or Network Rail projects.
