Senior Project Manager
Location: Hybrid between home and our London & Corby office, with flexible working
Reports to: Chief Digitech Officer
Salary: £75,000 plus excellent benefits
About the role:
The key business objectives for this transformation will be data strategy, user experience and business continuity. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries of products across multiple projects simultaneously and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT products that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Transformation Programme Manager with the three key business objectives: data strategy, user experience and business continuity
- Strong involvement in the delivery of the IT and data system change strategy, from planning and design to testing and deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, and communicate progress and status to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to ensure that projects are meeting customer needs and requirements
- Manage project risks and issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines and budgets

- Strong experience in delivering large scale transformation projects focused on customer user experience (internal & external)
- Excellent project management skills, delivery focused and able to work at pace with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence
- Previous experience guiding and training project managers and ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong collaboration skills, the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Highly self motivated with excellent organisational and planning skills with an agile and flexible approach
- Background in complex not-for-profit and/or commercial organisations
