A growing consumer lending business. This is a London based role.

Job Description

Consumer Loans Project Manager will be working closely with all departments in developing project initiation documents, detailed project plans, resource plans, risks and issues logs, budgets and requirements documents for each new initiative. You will oversee and ensure the timely delivery of these initiatives by managing on a day to day basis all actions and ensuring that all stakeholders and external partners are engaged and informed of progress throughout the life of the project.


  • Management and own ship of project lifecycle - from inception to implementation
  • Delivery of an of agile project management within financial services environments
  • Working with cross functional, distributed teams to deliver successfully
  • Delivery of project to time, quality and budget
  • Delivery of a logical, innovative, methodical and collaborative approach

The person we are looking for will have the following skills and experience

  • Strong governance of the project, including excellent Communication Skills - both verbal and written, including presentations and project reporting
  • Proven track record in managing teams and overseeing project deliveries
  • Strong negotiating/networking and influencing skills
  • Results driven but flexible and pragmatic, ability to manage competing priorities and customer requests in a dynamic environment
  • Quickly able to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness

The Successful Applicant

Consumer Loans Project Manager Essential skills

  • Strong experience of Project Management experience managing multiple projects at one time
  • Previous knowledge of software and the financial services industry in unsecured lending
  • A proven track record of successful software project delivery through the full project lifecycle
  • Solid background in Agile software development and delivery principles, and using Agile project tools such as Microsoft Sharepoint etc
  • Ability to organise workloads, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Strong Communication and reporting skills - both verbal and written, including presentations and project reporting
  • Experience managing and motivating cross-discipline teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Testers)
  • The ability to have a strong impact on End to end delivery of complex projects
