Black Country Living Museum is about to embark upon the single largest development in its 40-year history.  It will mean that engagement with our audiences can be taken forward from the late 19th and early 20th century into the more diverse history of the Black Country during the 1940s, 50s and 60s.  This £25m project will see the Museum constructing two major historic developments (including 21 buildings, some of which are being translocated to the Museum), new visitor centre and new spaces for the delivery of formal and informal learning, on its 26-acre open-air site, near Dudley in the West Midlands.  We are calling the project BCLM: Forging Ahead.

We are expecting that construction will begin in July 2019 and be complete in March 2022, subject to confirmation of Round Two funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund at the beginning of May.  Candidates are encouraged to contact the Museum for an update on the latest funding situation.  Unless stated otherwise, all roles are full-time, for a fixed term and are based at the Museum.  We are currently looking to recruit the following roles, to join the Museum Team:
