The Role:

Do you have excellent project coordination and management skills? Do you have an interest in sustainability and are you looking to develop your knowledge and experience? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you to join our team.

Oxford City Council’s Sustainable City Team accelerates city-wide sustainability, particularly carbon emissions reductions and air quality improvements. We do this by working with and for our partners across the city.

This role will support the delivery of the innovative collaborative partnership project ‘Local Energy Oxfordshire (LEO)’ which seeks to develop solutions for Oxfordshire’s highly constrained energy grid and in doing so mitigate large grid reinforcement costs and accelerate deployment of low carbon technology.

You will be performing a key liaison and engagement role between partners and the public on this project, delivering communications materials and events, maintaining project management documentation and undertaking discrete pieces of work that contribute towards the wider sustainable energy infrastructure programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great city and be part of an enthusiastic and forward thinking team
