A creative design and architecture practice in SE London require an experienced Architect to work on multiple large-scale leisure projects in the UK. If you have F&B, leisure and cinema design experience and have worked on concept to completion then we want to hear from you.

Established for 20 years, the practice is made up of a team of 20. They have long standing clients with projects spanning across the UK. Specialising in bars, restaurants and leisure, their projects are award winning, landing the Restaurant and Bar awards for several of their schemes. They offer a sociable and vibrant office environment with regular dinners out and day trips abroad. Being a food lover is a must with regular treats and snacks!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report to the Associate on project progress
  • Work across multiple large-scale Leisure projects at one time
  • Produce feasibility studies
  • Work using Vectorworks as your day to day CAD software
  • Manage a team of 5 staff
  • Meet strict deadlines
  • Run projects through all RIBA stages

Required Skills & Experience

  • A fully qualified Part III Architect, or Part II with extensive practice experience
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in professional practice within the UK
  • A track record in the construction of large-scale leisure fit-out projects (that typically include Cinemas, bars and restaurants)
  • Ability to produce feasibility studies on large cinema and leisure projects
  • Fluent use of Vectorworks is admirable, but not essential as training can be provided
  • An understanding of the financial aspects of running a fit-out in the studio and on site to completion, on time and on budget
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of 5
  • Ability to prioritise duties and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident building strong relationships at all levels, internally and externally

Salary & Package

  • £50,000 - £60,000
  • 20 days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Christmas Shutdown
