Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of a diverse range of built environment capital projects that emanate from the University’s c. £450m capital investment programme, with projects typically being in the £2m to £50m value range. The post holder will also support the Assistant Director, Capital Development on a range of strategic activities relating to the delivery of the capital programme including masterplanning, feasibility and investment appraisal and planning and allocation of resources.
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of leading complex new-build and refurbishment capital projects from inception to completion. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills together with strong commercial acumen and a highly organised approach. Experience of leading large-scale capital projects across academic, research, healthcare, public and/or commercial property types would be advantageous. It is expected that potential candidates possess a relevant technical background in the construction and property industry supported by a relevant professional qualification.
