Together with over 140 Network Partners, Camden Carers Centre is a member of the Carers Trust Network, the largest UK wide charity for the nation’s 7 million unpaid carers. We provide support, information, advice and services for children, young people and adults caring, unpaid, for a family member or friend.  

Camden Carers Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Project Administrator to support the Project Manager and Team to develop, plan and implement the Working for Carers programme in its next phase of the service. This project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting manager in meeting the funding requirements and targets to unemployed and economically inactive unpaid carers in 8 boroughs.  Our main office is based in Camden. The Project Administrator role will provide administration support to all staff in the working for carers team, ensuring that funding guidelines and requirements are met.This project will be delivered as part of a wider programme of activity across all London boroughs aimed at developing an effective and replicable service delivery model for employability support services supporting unpaid carers.

We are looking for an approachable, collaborative and highly organised person with experience of project administration, with excellent IT, planning and organisational skills. You will also need effective people management skills alongside highly developed analytical skills to manage your workload.  The ability to find solutions to problems with a can do approach.
