Do you love to work with local people in and around their community? Do you have experience supporting volunteers from a variety of backgrounds? Can you conceive and create projects from the ground up?

We are seeking an outstanding project manager with excellent planning, budgeting, and delivery skills to oversee our Public Health Community Champions project.

The successful candidate will be based out of the Chelsea Theatre and Community Centre on the World’s End Estate, which is currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment. They will work alongside both the creative and community team in this bustling community hub. The position is funded by a bi-borough public health project that is designed to provide improved opportunities for people living in the World’s End and Cremorne Estates in Chelsea to enhance their health and well-being.

The Project Manager will work in the new building, as well as working with our local partners, to recruit, train, and support a group of local volunteers, known as Community Champions. They will also respond to local needs and organise weekly activities and projects, oversee the planning and delivery of wide-scale public health campaigns, and organise two big community-wide events a year.
