A talented Project Manager is needed to join one of the UK's best known events venues based near London City Airport. Joining an established team and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer expect to play a pivotal role managing key multi-disciplinary non-capital projects across the organisation.
Hosting over 400 events a year and welcoming over 4 million visitors, from every corner of the globe, this leading venue boasts fully flexible event halls, conference & exhibition space, a multitude of meeting rooms and the UK's largest flexible auditorium. As they focus on continually improving their internal processes and technology investments, they recognise the importance of professionally managing our key projects and are therefore looking for a Project Manager to join the team.
The Project Manager will focus on the delivery of a mix of technology projects (e.g., Comms software, new event management systems) and customer experience projects (new wayfinder flows in venue; change of help desk processes). The projects aim to deliver key business outcomes including enabling automation and better efficiency inside the business to the quality of service provided to their customers (including organisers and end users), with an emphasis on a number of key areas including digitising the business, creating a new project management framework and consistent process methodologies.
To qualify. You should be a Project Manager / Business Analyst / Communications Project Manager / Marketing PM / Project Delivery Manager / Business PM or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Solid experience of programme/project management;
- You hold a Prince 2 Qualification;
- Experience in MS Project plan and Microsoft365;
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and or Process Mapping;
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills;
- Proven track record of working to agreed SLA's and KPI's and meeting targets;
- Demonstrated experience of challenging the status quo, bring about change and transformation;
- Experience of challenging and changing non-automated systems and processes;
- Experience of managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, across functions and seniority levels;
- Demonstrated ability to be able to scope, define and deliver a programme of work, aligning and managing project objectives, tasks and deliverables.
